Literacy and Phonological Awareness Skills

​There is no greater reward than helping a child develop a love of reading!  Sound awareness skills, reading and spelling skills don't come naturally to every child.  As soon as a child is identified as having difficulties in any of these areas it's vital they have a thorough assessment to determine why they're having difficulties and then get the right support to give them the skills needed to learn to read and write with ease.  Speech pathologist are trained to assess and treat children with literacy difficulties.
